福利视频’s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) training program was feature in the Coeur d’Alene Press.
福利视频 launched the SANE training program to help train nurses at 福利视频, and across the region, to better care for pediatric and adult victims of sexual assault. It is one of only five forensic examination courses available west of the Mississippi.
Megan Lorincz, manager of the Forensic Nurse Examiner program for 福利视频, applied for, and was awarded, a federal grant last year to help launch the training program. The mission of Lorincz and her team is to not only help other nurses feel comfortable performing these exams, but help victims begin their journey to healing.
